Despite long-term efforts to eradicate malaria, the disease still remains one of the top killers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Malaria is the most important single cause of frequent work and school absenteeism and delay in achieving sustainable development. From 2016-2017, DRC observed an estimated increase of more than half a million malaria cases (24.4 million to 25 million), according to the WHO World malaria report 2018. DRC is one of the leading countries in the world for malaria cases, accounting for 11% of the 219 million cases and 435000 deaths from malaria in 2017. Mbombo Initiative Against Malaria (Solidariedade Na Mokili) is a new hope for the world toward the elimination of malaria and the achievement of many Sustainable Development Goals – including ending poverty, improving health and well-being, ensuring quality education. Our mission is to eradicate malaria by providing tools and resources and helping to fight poverty in DRC. We are a not-for-profit organization that raising money for treatment, providing health education to families and health professionals, and distributing mosquito nets also where clinical research met artificial intelligence to defeat malaria. Our partnership with Google and Microsoft is very useful in turning data into better outcomes because we received free credit on Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure to analyze, visualise and understand better that data in order develop its algorithm that helps in predicting the number of future incidents, motivate the development of a system that can predict future incidences and prediction with the goal to making a decision and better target our limited resources in areas most need in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We want to be a generation that will eradicate malaria and achieve one of the greatest humanitarian accomplishments . We envision a world free of malaria , we are looking for Partners and to be linked with possible funders for financial support in order to defeat malaria , save lives , unlock human potential and trillion dollar in economic impact.
